Joachim Neubert

Joachim Neubert works as a scientific software developer at ZBW (Hamburg branch). He published the STW Thesaurus for Economics and the 20^th Century Press Archives as Linked Open Data and developed linked data based web services for economics. In 2009, together with colleagues of hbz, he started the SWIB - Semantic Web in Libaries - conference. As an “invited expert”, he took an active part in the Library Linked Data Incubator Group of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Additionally, he is exploring the potential of CMS based LOD publishing (particularly with Drupal). He is contributing to Wikidata, particularly in regard to authorities.

Further areas of interest are knowledge organization systems, (meta) data modeling and information retrieval for web applications.
